As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll support pharmacists by processing prescriptions, coordinating with healthcare providers and insurance carriers, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a seamless patient experience.
What You'll Do
- Process and enter prescription orders accurately and in compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain missing prescription information and resolve discrepancies.
- Verify prescription coverage and investigate insurance benefits.
- Coordinate medication deliveries and support patient adherence programs.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medications, allergies, and medical history.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, nursing teams, healthcare providers, and internal partners to support patient care.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance pharmacy operations.
- Support daily pharmacy activities, including inbound and outbound communications and special projects.

Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and professionalism.
- Comfort working in a high-volume, customer service-focused environment.
- Illinois Pharmacy License and Certification required. Licensed-only applicants are still welcome to attend the hiring event.

Pay: $25.05 - $27.00 per hour
