American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of vascular experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma, Level I Peds Trauma acute care hospital in Florida.

Work in a 4-room IR suite equipped with 3 biplane rooms (3 Siemens, 1 GE)
-
Wide variety of cases including stroke intervention, neurointerventions, PE thrombectomy and thrombolysis, DVT interventions, pain management procedures, and oncology procedures (Y-90, MAAs, chemoembolizations)

Daily caseload of 20–30 cases per tech

4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
-
Weekend work required with one Saturday per month

On-call required approximately 8–10 days per month depending on staffing; 30-minute response time to arrive at the facility required (on-call sleep rooms available)

May float within clinical scope to meet facility needs; no floating to sister facilities

Cerner EMR (preferred)

615-bed short-term acute care facility

Local candidates are accepted

Minimum 1 year of IR experience with vascular experience required

Experience required in stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripheral upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, neurological studies, and stroke thrombectomy

Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and biopsy procedures required

Current BLS and ARRT certifications required

FL state license required (pending license not accepted); license required if applicable

COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
