Duties
- Assist with demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup to prepare for restoration activities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Support framing, drywall installation, plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry tasks
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, masonry work, and concrete repairs as needed
- Install flooring, tile, cabinetry, glass, doors, and other fixtures to restore properties
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate work
- Conduct basic inspections of construction sites for safety compliance and quality standards
- Assist with roofing, stucco application, masonry work, and heavy equipment operation when required
- Support plumbing and electrical tasks under supervision to ensure proper installation and repair
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with scaffolding, scaffolds, scaffolding systems or working at heights
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction or restoration work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment safely
- Knowledge of construction management practices and estimating processes is advantageous
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, masonry, and concrete finishing techniques
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
- Valid driver’s license may be required for site travel or equipment operation
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
