Join a premier waterfront golf and hospitality destination on Maryland's Eastern Shore as our next Director of Sales. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth across golf outings, corporate events, weddings, and resort experiences while leading a high-performing sales team.
We're seeking a strategic, relationship-driven sales leader who thrives in hospitality and has a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. You'll oversee all sales initiatives, develop new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and collaborate with marketing and operations to maximize revenue and event success.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue across golf, events, weddings, and resort offerings.
- Lead all aspects of event sales, including corporate outings, weddings, tournaments, and group business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, tourism partners, and community organizations.
- Manage the sales pipeline, revenue forecasting, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand brand visibility within regional and destination markets.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and hospitality teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team while fostering accountability and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Five or more years of sales leadership experience within hospitality, resorts, catering, events, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding revenue goals.
- Experience leading sales teams in a resort, wedding, event, or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Experience using CRM systems, reporting tools, and sales analytics.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
- Experience with marketing strategy, digital campaigns, and brand positioning is a plus.
