COMMUNITY MANAGER 55+ Manufactured Home Community | Gig Harbor, Washington
Part-Time | Approximately 20 Hours per Week
$28.00 per Hour
We are seeking a professional, dependable, and personable Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a well-established 55+ manufactured home community in Gig Harbor, Washington.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, building positive relationships with residents, and keeping a community running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have previous property management experience and be comfortable balancing resident relations, administrative responsibilities, maintenance coordination, and community oversight.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for residents and prospective residents.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming, and respectful relationship with residents.
- Respond to resident questions, concerns, and requests in a timely manner.
- Assist with rent collection, account management, and other administrative duties.
- Enforce community rules and rental agreement requirements consistently and professionally.
- Coordinate maintenance requests, vendors, contractors, and landscaping services.
- Monitor the overall appearance, cleanliness, and condition of the community.
- Maintain accurate resident records, files, notices, and other community documentation.
- Assist with home sales, new resident applications, and move-in/move-out processes.
- Conduct routine inspections of common areas and community grounds.
- Communicate regularly with the Regional Manager regarding community operations, resident concerns, maintenance, and other issues.
- Handle resident conflicts and concerns with professionalism, discretion, and good judgment.
- Respond to urgent community matters or emergencies when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Previous property management experience.
- Experience managing a manufactured/mobile home community is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Washington landlord-tenant requirements is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time: Approximately 20 hours per week
- Pay: $28.00 per hour
- Primarily weekday office hours, with some flexibility based on community needs
- Occasional availability for urgent or emergency situations may be required
- Training and support provided by the Regional Management Team

This is a 55+ manufactured home community in beautiful Gig Harbor, Washington. The Community Manager will work closely with residents and the Regional Manager to maintain a safe, attractive, well-managed, and welcoming community.
