Position Summary
We are seeking a Mission Critical Superintendent to manage internal teams and subcontractors on data center construction and upgrade projects. This role supports a range of work, from smaller BMS/EPMS upgrades to large-scale, multi-discipline projects involving multiple trades.
This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role requiring experience working in live data center environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate internal crews and subcontractors on mission critical projects
- Support projects involving BMS, EPMS, mechanical, electrical, and structural scopes
- Maintain a safe work environment and actively promote a strong safety culture
- Collaborate with project managers on planning, scheduling, coordination, and project closeout
- Provide technical guidance and daily direction to field teams and trade partners
- Communicate project progress and schedule updates to stakeholders
- Assist with client submittals, site logistics plans, and as-built documentation
- Track and help manage RFIs, maintaining accurate logs
- Participate in client and subcontractor site walks
- Support estimating and project teams with RFQs and bid submissions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Coordinate site access, badging, and security requirements
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of field management experience in mission critical or data center construction
- Experience working in live data center environments required
- Proven ability to manage crews in active data center settings
- Strong understanding of construction methods, safety, and quality standards
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, structural, and architectural trades
Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams
- Ability to interpret P&ID and BMS control diagrams
- Ability to read electrical drawings and trace power flow
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and ability to coach others
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with BMS and EPMS systems, including construction, integration, and commissioning

- Willingness to travel to project sites
- Ability to pass a background check

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
