Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Shuttle Driver at our South Provo Campus in Provo, Utah, earning $16.49–$20.90/hour. In this onsite role, you'll safely transport clients to and from appointments, programs, and other essential services while supporting a team dedicated to helping individuals navigate behavioral health challenges. You'll play an important part in ensuring clients have reliable access to care, all while helping create a safe, respectful, and supportive experience during every ride.
Schedule: Monday–Friday (2 days per week), 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $16.49–$20.90 DOE

What You'll Do as a Human Service Worker

Safely operate a 15-passenger van

Safely transport clients to and from appointments, programs, and other approved locations

Follow assigned routes and schedules while allowing flexibility for client needs

Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness

Maintain accurate transportation logs and required documentation

Provide a respectful, supportive, and professional experience for all clients

Communicate effectively with staff regarding schedules, delays, or concerns

Follow all traffic laws, agency policies, and safety procedures

Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed

Respond calmly and appropriately in unexpected or emergency situations

Help ensure the vehicle remains clean, organized, and ready for daily use
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check and meet agency driving requirements

Prior experience in transportation, customer service, or human services preferred

Comfortable driving a van and navigating local routes safely and efficiently

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in all situations

Basic knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with clients
