Shining Rock Classical Academy is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in Haywood County. Our mission is to provide a high-quality, student-centered education in a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Third Grade Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes academic and social growth.
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Assess student progress and use data to guide instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and team meetings.
Qualifications
- North Carolina Teaching License in Elementary Education (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to student success.
Pay: $47,200.23 - $56,843.29 per year
