We are looking for a Full-time Retail Sales Team Member to join this fast-paced, award winning team. Approximately 38-40 hours/week. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services, and recommend solutions. A positive attitude, eagerness to learn about products & industry, attention to detail and a team spirit will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
- Cross-sell products
- Ensure racks and cooler are fully stocked
- Coordinate with the team to provide excellent customer service
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Stay up-to-date with new products
Applicants must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Able to lift 30+ pounds.
- Able to work evenings and weekends.
- Be focused, timely, honest, dependable and hard-working.
- Possess basic math and cash handling skills
- Present references
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends
- Retail Sales experience a HUGE plus
