Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, assist with their selections, and provide excellent service to enhance their shopping experience
- Prepare baked goods by following recipes accurately, including pastry preparation, cake decorating, and food handling procedures
- Package baked items efficiently while maintaining presentation standards and food safety protocols
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and other baking tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety management practices, including sanitation and organization of supplies
- Support high-volume production by preparing large quantities of baked goods while ensuring quality control
- Assist in food production tasks such as cooking, food preparation, and pastry decoration to meet daily demand
Experience
- Prior experience in food industry roles involving baking or pastry preparation is highly desirable
- Demonstrated skills in cake decorating, pastry preparation, and food handling techniques
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Strong understanding of food safety management practices and recipe adherence standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory levels
- Kitchen experience that includes knife skills, food production processes, and maintaining a clean workspace
