We're looking for an energetic, customer-focused team member who is passionate about helping people and ensuring every customer leaves with an exceptional experience. This position serves as a Backup Service Writer while also playing a key role in our vehicle delivery process by ensuring every vehicle is clean, inspected, and ready before it leaves the shop.

ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service
- Welcome every customer with enthusiasm, professionalism, and respect.
- Greet customers within 3 seconds of entering the building—even if it's simply to acknowledge them and let them know you'll be right with them.
- Answer phone calls with a positive attitude, ensuring customers can "hear your smile."
- Assist as a Backup Service Writer by helping customers at the counter, scheduling appointments, writing repair orders, and supporting the service advisors during busy periods or when coverage is needed.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle needs.
- Clearly explain recommended services so customers understand what they're paying for and why.
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience from check-in to vehicle pickup.
Vehicle Quality & Delivery
- Perform a final quality inspection on every vehicle before delivery to ensure all repairs have been completed and the vehicle is ready for the customer.
- Clean and prepare customer vehicles prior to pickup, including wiping down interiors, washing windows as needed, and ensuring the vehicle is presented professionally.
- Verify that no tools, parts, or shop materials have been left in the vehicle.
- Ensure every vehicle leaves the shop looking its best and meets our quality standards.
Shop Appearance
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility, including:
- Keeping the front office clean and presentable.
- Supporting a clean and safe shop environment.
- Ensuring the storefront and exterior areas remain neat and inviting.
Qualifications
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Enjoy working with people and building relationships.
- Basic automotive knowledge preferred.
- Previous automotive service advisor or customer service experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and a team player.
- Ability to work Saturdays.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Typically Tuesday through Saturday
- 8-hour shifts
- Rotating schedule as needed

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
