Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations by cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly to uphold food safety standards.
- Support food running duties by delivering orders from the kitchen to guests accurately and swiftly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Assist with food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations.
- Contribute to banquet or event setups when needed, ensuring all food service areas are prepared for large groups or special occasions.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a positive work environment focused on guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices essential for maintaining hygiene standards.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and provide excellent customer service.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably.
