American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Belleville, IL, requiring high-risk telemetry experience and Epic proficiency.

Acute care Magnet hospital with 40 beds on the Telemetry unit and 222 facility-wide beds
-
Night shift position working 12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15), with 3x12 or 4x12 schedules approved
-
Patient ratio of 1:5–6
-
Epic EMR experience is required

Floating required to all inpatient units across both campuses within scope of practice

Every other weekend required, with an expectation of 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) per 6-week schedule

No on-call requirements

Block scheduling is not available

Active IL RN license required (pending IL license is acceptable at time of consideration — please note this on your profile)

Active MO RN license required at time of consideration

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

High-risk telemetry experience required

Proficiency with cardiac drips, sheath pulls, and central line management required

Epic EMR experience required

Navy scrubs required

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week of orientation

Candidates residing within a 75-mile radius of the facility are subject to a local pay rate

Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler

Travelers may remain at a BJC facility for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
