Position: Estimator – Siding / Wood Framing / CarpentrySearch Priority
Looking for an experienced estimator with a strong background estimating siding, wood framing, and carpentry scopes. This person can work 100% remote, but they must have On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid experience.
We need someone who has actually estimated relevant trade packages and can step into production-level estimating without needing heavy software or trade-specific training.
- Estimator experience for specialty subcontractor scopes
- Siding
- Wood framing
- Carpentry
- Exterior systems
- Drywall/framing may be relevant if they also touch wood framing or carpentry
- OST / On-Screen Takeoff experience
- Must be hands-on, not just familiar with it.
- Quick Bid experience
- Candidate must be self-sufficient, organized, responsive, and comfortable estimating remotely.
- Ability to read plans and perform takeoffs independently
- Strong blueprint/architectural/structural drawing interpretation is important.
- The ideal candidate understands assemblies, materials, labor, production rates, scopes, exclusions, and bid leveling for siding/wood framing/carpentry packages.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is someone who has worked as an Estimator, Senior Estimator, Chief Estimator, Preconstruction Estimator, or Estimator/Project Manager for a specialty subcontractor in one or more of the following areas:
- Siding contractors
- Wood framing contractors
- Carpentry contractors
- Exterior cladding contractors
- Drywall/framing contractors
- Stucco/EIFS/exterior systems contractors
- Multifamily or commercial specialty subcontractors
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Multifamily estimating experience
- Commercial tenant improvement estimating
- Residential production or custom home estimating
- Exterior envelope experience
- Stucco, EIFS, stone, drywall, metal stud framing, lath/plaster
- Experience preparing budgets, bid packages, alternates, VE options, and scope clarifications
- Experience communicating with GCs, owners, architects, and vendors
- Experience managing estimating databases, digital plan rooms, or bid logs
- Project management background

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
