The Regulatory Affairs Specialist works closely with the Director of Policy & Regulatory Affairs to manage and advise on emerging regulatory policy issues impacting the nation’s health centers. In this role, the Program Specialist is responsible for managing policy resource development and communication with NACHC members and health center stakeholders. This position has the opportunity to work on a broad range of federal policy issues.

1) Provides administrative and program management support to the regulatory affairs team.

Manages regulatory affairs inbox and responds to member inquiries.

Responsible for compiling and organizing weekly newsletters.

Draft email communications to support the regulatory affairs team’s projects and events.

Updates regulatory affairs online platforms webpages and online communities.

Oversee logistics and coordination for the regulatory affairs team’s webinars, presentations, and support NACHC conference sessions.

Support comment letter drafting through collating research.
2) Develop resources like issue briefs, factsheets, and blogs to educate health centers, PCAs, and HCCNs.
3) Track federal regulations and emerging federal policy issues.

Familiar with policy research platforms.

Track announcements from HHS and other relevant agencies.

Track 340B and health center program related policy changes.
4) Manage coordination and collaboration with primary care associations on emerging regulatory policy.

Bachelor’s degree in public policy, public health, or a related field.

At least 23 years of professional experience.

Familiar with health policy and healthcare access.

Familiar with policy research and analysis.

Superior multitasking skills.

Superior organizational skills.

1015% of travel per year to NACHC conferences and events.

Experience creating and delivering substantive presentations.

Comfortable with public speaking virtually and in person

Salary: $63,000 - $75,000
