Special Needs Teacher (Infant & Toddler Development)
TeachLab Palm Beach is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teacher to support infants and toddlers in our early intervention program. This role focuses on working closely with young children (birth to age 3) and their families to promote developmental growth in natural environments such as homes and daycare settings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Communication Sciences, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with special needs (birth to age 5 preferred)
- Comfortable traveling throughout Palm Beach County and surrounding areas
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- ITDS certification
Preferred (not required):
- Experience as a Behavior Technician
- Bilingual (Spanish or Creole)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide early intervention services in home, daycare, and community-based settings
- Partner with and coach parents/caregivers on strategies to support their child’s development
- Create a supportive, engaging environment tailored to each child’s needs
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of progress
