Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments, including taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and managing supplies.
- Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy (blood draws)
- Manage patient intake processes by collecting medical histories, updating electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems).
- Document patient interactions accurately using EMR/EHR systems, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols for infection control and patient privacy.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate appointments, answer calls, follow-up care, and post treatment instructions for out services
- Have knowledge about all of our services we provide and can explain each service to patients.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and ICD coding standards.
- Experience in the medical aesthetic field.
- Skilled in EHR systems management, EMR/EHR documentation, and electronic health records (EHR) management practices.
- Competent in performing phlebotomy, use of topical lidocaine, and vital signs measurement.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications related to emergency medicine or hospital experience are advantageous.
