Farmington River Regional School District is a small, rural community school serving Otis and Sandisfield, MA, with about 110 students and one class per grade level. The school seeks a DESE-licensed early childhood teacher to serve in a co-teaching or team-teaching role in our integrated PreK/EK program serving students aged 3 & 4.WORK HOURS/DAY: Workdays and hours will be consistent with the Educator agreement between the Farmington River School Committee and the FRREA. The PreK/EK school day starts at 8:30 and ends at 2:30 for the school year. Three-year-olds enrolled in the program may attend for half-days, 2-5 days a week.QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Candidates for this position must hold a valid DESE educator license in early childhood (PK-2) and/or Special Education, Moderate Needs.
Special Education license required by the end of 2027. Successful experience in an early childhood setting is desired, and knowledge of current instructional methodologies in early literacy is preferred. We're looking for a calm, positive demeanor and the ability to work well with other educators in a team approach.COMPENSATION: Per FRREA Contract
