Pioneer College Caterers is seeking a dependable and motivated Full-Time Cook to join our dining services team beginning in August. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in serving quality food, and wants to grow within a supportive food service organization.
Position Responsibilities
The Full-Time Cook will assist with:
- Preparing hot and cold menu items according to established recipes and production standards
- Completing daily kitchen preparation and food production
- Providing friendly, efficient cafeteria-style service
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Following proper food handling, temperature-control, and sanitation procedures
- Preventing cross-contact and following all allergen-awareness practices
- Supporting the kitchen team during meal preparation, service, and cleanup
Qualifications
- At least one year of culinary or professional kitchen experience
- Weekend availability is required
- Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment
- Dependable, professional, and willing to learn
- Must successfully complete and pass the required Allergen Training course
Compensation
$15.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
