Duties
- Assist with the preparation and review of real estate transaction documents such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, and closing statements.
- Conduct title searches, review title commitments, and coordinate with title companies to ensure clear property ownership.
- Manage document review and organization using legal case management systems like iManage and PCLaw.
- Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, coordinating meetings, and maintaining transaction schedules.
- Perform legal research on topics including land use regulations, environmental law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), tribal law & regulations, and procedural law to support case strategies.
- Draft legal correspondence, summaries, and reports with precision and clarity.
- Handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining meticulous document management practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in real estate law or related legal support roles with strong knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, and land use regulations.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to gather relevant case law and statutory information.
- Familiarity with legal software including iManage, PCLaw, Document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills for drafting documents and client correspondence with attention to detail.
- Effective interviewing skills for client intake and gathering pertinent information efficiently.
- Ability to handle procedural law knowledge related to civil litigation support, landlord-tenant issues, family law matters, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury cases, patent law, tribal regulations, and general & commercial litigation.
- Exceptional proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in all legal documents.
- Outstanding phone etiquette combined with professional client communication skills.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
