Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential/Commercial plumbing, mechanical systems, and site installation. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The Journeyman Plumber will work on various projects that require technical expertise, precision, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality construction projects while utilizing a broad skill set including welding, pipe threading, and remodeling.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites or during remodeling projects.
- Conduct maintenance tasks on existing plumbing systems, including troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, HVAC, and general contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Adhere to safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in remodeling projects by performing tasks related to assembly, maintenance person work, or site preparation as needed.
- Read construction plans and schematics accurately to execute installations according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, site installation, or related field service roles.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe threading, welding techniques, and schematics reading.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, remodeling processes, maintenance procedures, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and basic carpentry tools effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction site operations is highly desirable.
- Experience with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is essential.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs.
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving preferred but not required.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed. This role is integral to delivering quality construction projects with precision and professionalism while fostering a safe working environment for all team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
