Synergy School of Tomorrow, Inc. is seeking reliable and flexible Per Diem Substitute Teachers to provide classroom coverage when regular teachers are absent. This position plays an important role in maintaining a productive and safe learning environment for students.
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and able to follow lesson plans while maintaining classroom structure and student engagement.
Per Diem / As Needed (On-Call)

Supervise students and maintain a structured classroom environment

Follow the lesson plans provided by the regular teacher

Ensure student safety and adherence to school policies

Manage classroom behavior in a professional and respectful manner

Take attendance and complete any required reports for the day

Communicate any concerns or incidents to administration

Support the school’s educational mission and values
-
High school diploma required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)

Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred

Strong classroom management skills

Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, not mandatory
In accordance with Florida Statute 1012.32 and the Jessica Lunsford Act, all employees working in schools must undergo Level 2 background screening and fingerprinting through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Clearinghouse.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the required background screening.
Applicants will be required to submit fingerprints through the FDLE Clearinghouse system prior to employment.
