TactWare is seeking a Senior Acquisition Logistician to support the Organic Precision Fires (OPF) program. This role provides end-to-end logistics support across the acquisition lifecycle, ensuring effective planning, fielding, sustainment, and accountability of military systems and equipment. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in USMC or DoD logistics environments and strong familiarity with enterprise logistics systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide acquisition logistics support across the full lifecycle, including planning, fielding, sustainment, and disposal
- Develop and maintain logistics documentation (e.g., LCSP, maintenance plans, support strategies)
- Support supply chain operations including cataloging, packaging, shipping, palletization, and ammunition handling
- Plan, coordinate, and support training activities, including New Equipment Training (NET), training scheduling and execution, training validation, and coordination with Training and Education Command (TECOM) and other stakeholders
- Manage Government Furnished Property (GFP) and maintain accountability using systems such as GCSS-MC
- Execute inventory management, audits, and reporting for military equipment and materials
- Support program planning efforts, including logistics inputs to requirements, funding, and sustainment strategies
- Coordinate with program offices, depots, and external stakeholders to ensure mission readiness
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship (REQUIRED)
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Permanent residents and green card holders are not eligible
- 7+ years of experience in DoD logistics, with a focus on acquisition logistics
- Experience supporting USMC programs or similar defense organizations
- Working knowledge of:
- Cataloging and supply systems
- Ammunition logistics
- Facilities and storage operations
- Packaging, shipping, and palletization processes
- Strong understanding of logistics lifecycle support and sustainment planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Acquisition, Business, or related field
- Hands-on experience with GCSS-MC or comparable enterprise logistics systems
- Familiarity with OPF or prepositioning/logistics support programs
