This is a full time, benefits-eligible position with shifts between 1p and 9p at our main location and/or the hospital. Some call will also be required.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Responsible for assisting in patient care duties as related to MR and physician demands.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Preparation of MRI patients for their respective examinations.

Reads patient notes and follows patient safety screening instructions.

Forwards the patient to appropriate personnel concerning questions about procedures.

Dressing of patient appropriately for their MRI procedures.

Preparation and assistance of all hospital inpatients for their MRI studies and assisting them with the completion of their paperwork if necessary.

Assist patient escorts (nurses, sitters) with care of hospital inpatients.

Assist technologists with moving and lifting of patients, assisting patients to the restroom, and any other patient care duties as needed.

Stocking and organization of all work area, to include all MRI scan rooms, patient holding areas, storerooms, et cetera.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
EDUCATION:
High school degree or equivalent.
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of health care field.
