The Car Culture is looking for a dependable, organized Part-Time Shipping & Inventory Associate to help get customer orders out accurately and on time. This is an entry-level position with hands-on responsibility for shipping, carrier coordination, and basic inventory tracking.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, label, and ship customer orders
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with UPS, USPS, FedEx, and other carriers
- Compare shipping information with order details and verify packages before pickup
- Track shipments and help resolve routine delivery issues
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies
- Keep the shipping and inventory areas organized
- Follow basic procedures for order accuracy, packing, and recordkeeping
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior shipping or warehouse experience required; training will be provided
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using a computer and learning shipping or inventory software
- Able to communicate professionally with carriers and team members
- Comfortable handling packages and standing or moving around during the shift
Schedule and compensation
- Part-time schedule; exact days and hours will be discussed during the interview
- $16–$18 per hour, depending on experience and fit
- No benefits are currently offered for this part-time position
