Dependable Home Health of Tucson is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech Therapist (ST/SLP) to join our team on a PRN basis, serving patients throughout the Greater Tucson area.

As a PRN Home Health Speech Therapist, you’ll evaluate and treat patients experiencing communication, cognitive, speech, language, and swallowing challenges related to illness, injury, surgery, or other medical conditions.
Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing evaluations in patients’ homes
Develop individualized plans of care based on each patient’s needs and goals
Provide skilled speech therapy interventions to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety, and strategies for continued progress
Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as appropriate
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
Help patients maximize independence, safety, and quality of life at home
Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Arizona
Current CPR certification
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients and families
Ability to work independently in a home health setting
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Home health experience is preferred, but we welcome qualified Speech Therapists from other clinical backgrounds who are interested in transitioning into home health.
