Xavier Catholic Schools is hiring a Fruits and Vegetables Attendant to join the Food Service Team at Xavier High School! This is a part-time, position
QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Education or GED required,

Prior food service or related field experience preferred
-
Enthusiastic supporter of the Catholic faith and schools
-
Flexible, adaptive, and cooperative
All who serve at Xavier Catholic Schools will witness by their behavior, actions, and words a life consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow all health department guidelines and regulations
-
Open canned fruit and put into serving pans

Open and prepare canned vegetables
-
Wash and prepare fresh fruits and vegetables for serving; and replenish fruits and vegetables, as needed
-
Serve lunch to students
-
Monitor lunch line
-
Backup cashier, when needed
-
Spray and wipe tables in the Commons after lunch
-
Assist co-workers in other areas, as needed
-
Take required classes and training
-
Take out garbage and recyclables
-
Sweep and mop floors; perform heavy duty cleaning, as needed
-
Help unload weekly truck
-
Prepare grocery order on Thursdays
-
Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, talk, reach, sit, hear,
handle and perform repetitive motions of the hands/wrists. Lifts and moves items up to 20 pounds.
