Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage: Direct and manage the rehabilitation department, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services to patients.
- Patient Care: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, focusing on achieving optimal outcomes.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise rehabilitation staff, providing guidance and coaching to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Department Operations: Oversee department operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and supply management.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, monitoring and reporting on patient outcomes and department performance.
- Communication: Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring open and effective communication.
Requirements
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1-3 years of management preferred
- Level of Education: Applicable to therapy discipline (COTA, PTA, PT, OT, SLP) and licensed in the state of Florida
