The primary purpose of this position is to report, on a timely and accurate basis, facility financial statements.
- To assist with monthly financial close within the scheduled time frames.
- Requires a self-starter capable of working independently handling multiple tasks & performing under the pressure of deadlines.
- Should be professional in appearance, detail oriented, exceptional organizational skills & have a high energy level.
- Four-year degree. BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in public accounting or in multi-entity general ledger close, financial statement preparation and account reconciliation.
- Superior level skills in computer technology with knowledge of Microsoft Office and extensive Excel knowledge; experience with Great Plan Dynamics and Management Reporter a plus.
- Healthcare or long term care experiences a plus.
- Requires someone with the ability to work as a professional with others in a team environment.
- Review and maintain assigned nursing facilities’ general ledgers
- Prepare and enter journal entries for payroll, accruals, and other month end items
- Maintain balance sheet and bank account reconciliations monthly
- Maintain capital expenditures ledger
- Other related financial/census reporting
- Generate monthly reports to be distributed to facility and corporate management
- Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager and CFO
