In this fast-paced and energetic environment, you’ll prepare delicious ice cream creations, operate the register, and ensure our store remains clean, welcoming, and inviting. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in customer service, food preparation, and teamwork while working in a fun atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet every guest with a friendly smile and provide outstanding customer service
- Scoop and serve ice cream, prepare sundaes, milkshakes, smoothies, and other specialty desserts
- Decorate and write on ice cream cakes as needed
- Operate the POS system to process orders and payments accurately
- Handle cash and card transactions with precision
- Upsell featured flavors, promotions, and add-ons to enhance the guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness of counters, freezers, display cases, and dining areas
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties
Qualifications
- Previous food service or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
