Emergency Services
Responds as dispatched in a timely manner to load, transport, and unload patients who require nonemergency transport respectfully and safely. Operate the wheelchair van in a safe efficient and orderly manner while on duty.

Plan and prioritize daily work to maximize productivity and efficiently manage time.

Provide leadership and guidance for students and new employees.

Performs duties in an independent manner with little or no direct supervision but seeks guidance when appropriate.

Prefer High School or equivalent.

Current MSDL.

Current CPR Certification (can be obtained after initial hire but must be maintained during employment).

Physicians, nurses, other hospital departments, coworkers, other ambulance services, students.
In conjunction with Supervisor, Dispatch, and other staff decisions that are in the best interest of the patient and their well-being should be made.
Walking on various terrains, lifting large amounts of weight from equipment and patients, pushing/pulling/ and loading/unloading stretchers, operating medical equipment.
