Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of various interior projects such as bathrooms, kitchens, flooring and finish trim work. Warmer months we are outside installing decks and fences.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, fastening, and finish with paint or other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and plans to execute tasks accurately.
- Prepare construction sites by setting up scaffolding, framing, or other structures needed for renovation or new builds.
- Follow all workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for yourself and your team.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related field is highly preferred. Entry level position also available
- Ability to interpret blueprint specifications and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools.
- Skills in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical will set you apart from other applicants
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate basic heavy equipment or commercial driving when needed.
- Drivers license is a plus
