Human Resources
- Support assigned business units as an approachable, reliable HR point of contact for both managers and employees
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting — posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting offer processes
- Coordinate and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a consistent employee experience
- Help manage employee relations matters under the guidance of senior HR leadership, escalating appropriately
- Support performance management cycles including goal-setting, mid-year check-ins, and annual reviews
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR data within the HRIS, generating reports and tracking key metrics
- Assist with benefits administration and serve as a first-line resource for employee benefits questions
- Help draft and update HR policies, process guides, and employee-facing communications
- Support compliance tracking and ensure employee documentation meets federal, state, and local requirements
Business Administration
- Partner with department leads on cross-functional projects that require HR coordination or operational support
- Assist with headcount tracking and reporting in partnership with Finance and senior HR leadership
- Help coordinate company-wide programs including all-hands meetings, culture initiatives, and employee engagement activities
- Support vendor coordination, office operations, and business administration tasks as needed
- Maintain organizational documentation including org charts, process maps, and policy libraries
- Identify operational gaps and bring practical improvement ideas to the team
What We Are Looking For
Required
- 2 to 4 years of HR experience in a generalist, coordinator, or early-stage business partner capacity
- Comfort working across multiple HR functions — you are not looking for a single-specialty role
- Solid foundational knowledge of employment law and HR compliance basics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and standard business tools (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)
- High level of discretion, reliability, and follow-through
- A genuine interest in both the people side and the operational side of a business
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or progress toward certification
- Experience working at a company with 100 to 500 employees where resourcefulness and adaptability were essential
- Exposure to recruiting coordination, benefits administration, or employee relations
