We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our growing rebar fabrication shop in Vinton, TX. We are hiring candidates with fabrication, manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, machine operation, steel, welding, or related shop experience.
This position is ideal for individuals who have worked in an industrial environment and are looking to build a long-term career. Prior rebar experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has previous shop or manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate rebar fabrication equipment and machinery
- Read work orders and production schedules
- Measure, cut, bend, and process reinforcing steel
- Safely handle and move material throughout the shop
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fabrication shop, manufacturing facility, steel industry, machine operation, welding shop, or similar industrial environment
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work safely around machinery and heavy materials
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Rebar fabrication experience is a plus but not required
Requirements
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
