Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking and fabrication processes, with a focus on precision and quality. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into finished products, utilizing various tools and machinery to meet project specifications.
Duties
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Perform plasma cutting and welding tasks to fabricate parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Utilize a press brake machine for bending and shaping metal sheets.
- Assemble fabricated parts into final products, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Conduct machining processes as needed to achieve desired dimensions.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site projects and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines.
Experience
- Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with power tools, plasma cutting equipment, hand tools, and welding techniques is essential.
- Basic math skills are required for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process.
- Experience working on construction sites is a plus, particularly in rigging and assembly tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
