Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend beverages that enhance their experience.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Develop new beverage recipes and craft specialty cocktails to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and minimizing waste through effective stock control.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy hours while managing time effectively.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising service quality.
- Experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments is highly preferred.
- Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while maintaining consistency and quality standards.
- Solid understanding of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices.
- Retail math skills for accurate cash handling, balancing registers, and managing sales transactions effectively.
- Previous experience with catering or food industry operations is a plus.
