Opening: Dental Assistant
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $22-35 DOE
Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a well-established boutique dental practice to hire a

What You'll Do
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and treatment rooms in accordance with infection control standards.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
- Assist with appointment coordination and follow-up scheduling.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of dental supplies.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all infection control and safety protocols.
- Support the clinical team with additional duties as needed to ensure efficient daily operations.
What We're Looking For
- Previous Dental Assistant experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures.
- Experience with Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft is a plus.
- Familiarity with 3D scanners is preferred.
- Understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures.
- CPR/BLS certification is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, dependability, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
Compensation
- $22.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
