Selway Machine Tool, an industry leading machine tool distributor, is looking for entry level, intermediate or advanced CNC Field Service Technicians in the Southern California area to install, repair and test mechanical equipment, CNC machinery, and components. Duties include troubleshooting, repairing, and identifying parts for replacement to repair automation equipment.

Mechanical Competencies
- Competent Understanding of Mechanical Drawings and Layouts
- Competent Understanding of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
Electrical Competencies
- Competent Understanding of electrical and electronic troubleshooting
- Competent Understanding of Ladder Knowledge

- Required Education and Experience
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Requires a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Work Environment
This job operates primarily in a shop/manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard mechanical/electrical equipment such as hand tools, meters, test bars and inspection tools.
Travel
Ability to travel long distances; overnight travel may be required
