Job Description:
As a Tank Wash Attendant at R & J Trucking, you will be responsible for providing clean equipment for our customers using a high-volume power washer. You will also be tasked with pulling trucks into and out of the wash bay and hooking up tractor trailers to perform detailed washes. This position involves climbing with the use of a five-point harness, removing hoses, inspecting and cleaning and maintaining accurate records of washes performed. Your position is not only important for keeping our equipment looking its best, but also for providing a service to our customers that they can trust!
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 AM
- 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:00 PM-7:00 AM
Tank Wash Attendant Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience professionally pressure washing
- 1+ years washing bulk pneumatic trailers is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a MVR.
- Be able to climb stairs and ladders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Tank Wash Attendant Responsibilities:
- Operate a high flow power washer
- Hook trucks to trailers & drive into the wash bay.
- Be able to climb to the top of the trailer.
- Required to wear a five point harness at all times when elevated.
- Remove hoses from trailer; clean and inspect.
- Remove valves from trailer; clean and inspect.
- Keep accurate records of washes.
- Collaborate with the team to complete washes efficiently.
