The Security Professional at The 555 Group, PLLC, plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors. This position involves providing excellent customer service while ensuring physical security through patrols, access control, and emergency response. The Security Professional is responsible for handling firearms, conducting patrols, de-escalating conflicts, and responding effectively to emergencies. A strong focus on compliance with security regulations and accurate incident reporting is essential to uphold the safety standards of our organization.
Duties
- Perform regular patrols of assigned premises to monitor security status and identify potential issues.
- Manage access control systems to regulate entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized individuals gain access.
- Handle firearms responsibly in accordance with training and legal requirements, maintaining safety at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their concerns professionally.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including fires, medical incidents, or security breaches, following established protocols.
- De-escalate conflicts through effective communication and conflict resolution techniques to prevent escalation.
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals until professional help arrives.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security events accurately and thoroughly for record-keeping and review.
- Comply with all security regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe environment for everyone on site.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois PERC Card required.
- 20-Hour Basic Security Training Certificate.
- 28-Hour Firearms Training Certificate.
- Proven experience or training in physical security, firearm handling, and emergency response procedures preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Knowledge of access control systems and incident report writing standards.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and security regulations.
