**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Scope Reprocessor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and reprocessing of all endoscopes to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This critical role plays a vital part in maintaining the integrity of our surgical equipment and ensuring the health and well-being of our patients.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of surgical scopes to identify any damage, wear, or other issues that may affect their performance or safety.
- Use specialized tools and techniques to clean and reprocess surgical scopes to ensure they are sanitized and free of any contaminants.
- Perform quality control checks to verify that reprocessed scopes meet all applicable regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Document all inspection and reprocessing activities in detail to maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all scopes are properly maintained and stored.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with the latest techniques and technologies related to scope reprocessing.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a healthcare setting or related field is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of surgical scopes and their proper use and maintenance is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Certification in scope reprocessing is preferred but not required.
