About the Role
This is a senior production planning and supply chain role within a manufacturing environment. The Master Production Scheduler owns the site's demand plan, master production schedule, and capacity alignment, and serves on the SIOP leadership team.
Please note: This is not an administrative scheduling, office coordination, accounting, or finance position. Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience in production scheduling, demand planning, or materials/operations planning within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models, customer intelligence, and market trends.
- Align demand plans with operational capacity and financial goals to ensure optimal profitability and resource utilization.
- Lead weekly SOP meetings, presenting key insights, identifying bottlenecks, and driving actionable outcomes.
- Collaborate with Planners bi-weekly to review demand changes and finalize release plans, minimizing rescheduling.
- Balance demand and capacity to optimize asset utilization and order fulfillment.
- Create and manage a 26-week rolling site optimization plan and a monthly countdown to revenue attainment.
- Drive continuous improvement in scheduling and planning processes across all functional areas.
- Ensure alignment of material procurement with production plans to maintain cost efficiency and delivery performance.
Expectations
- Exhibit strong leadership and accountability as a member of the SIOP leadership team.
- Deliver executable and profitable shipment and production plans that meet financial and operational targets.
- Maintain a demand forecast variance of less than +/-10%.
- Proactively identify and resolve planning constraints and escalate issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in master scheduling, production planning, or demand planning within a manufacturing environment (electronics manufacturing services strongly preferred)
- Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems in a production setting
- Proven experience in master scheduling, demand planning, or operations management.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional team management skills.
- Expertise in capacity modeling, financial analysis, and corporate budgeting.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, data manipulation, and database querying.
- In-depth knowledge of MRP systems and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
- Familiarity with SIOP/SOP processes and tools.
- Advanced Excel and data visualization skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
