We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join us on the Night Shift.
Night shifts require a unique kind of nurse—someone who is observant, calm under pressure, and comfortable working independently while the rest of the world is asleep. In this role, you will be providing hands-on, one-on-one care for a patient who relies on Tracheostomy and PEG tube support.
What You’ll Be Doing
Trach Care & Airway Support: Keeping airways clear and safe through suctioning, routine trach care, inner cannula changes, and keeping a close eye on oxygen levels.
PEG Tube Care: Mixing and managing enteral feedings, flushing lines, administering night medications safely through the tube, and keeping the site clean and healthy.
Overnight Monitoring: Running regular check-ins, tracking vital signs, and catching any subtle changes in patient condition early.
Medication Management: Giving scheduled overnight meds accurately and on time.
Simple Documentation: Keeping clear notes on how the night went so the day team is set up.
Who We’re Looking For
Active RN License with 3+ years of experience in ER/ICU/PCU/Step Down.
Current BLS/CPR: Active certification.
Hands-On Experience: MUST have prior experience managing trachs and PEG/G-tubes. We will be providing thorough orientation so you can become familiar with the care routine.
The Right Mindset: Reliable, calm, attentive, and warm. Someone who truly cares about the person behind the care plan.
