Dynamic Dance & Fitness is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Ballet & Lyrical Instructor to join our teaching team for the 2026–2027 dance season.
We are looking for a dependable, positive instructor with strong ballet technique and a passion for helping dancers grow in both technique and confidence. The ideal candidate will create an encouraging, structured classroom environment while providing age-appropriate instruction and making each dancer feel supported and successful.
Responsibilities
- Teach ballet and lyrical classes to a variety of ages and levels
- Develop age-appropriate technique, combinations, and class curriculum
- Create choreography for our annual recital
- Provide corrections and encouragement in a positive and supportive manner
- Maintain consistent communication with the Studio Director
- Arrive prepared and be dependable for scheduled weekly classes
- Potentially assist with substitute teaching and additional classes as opportunities arise
Qualifications
- Strong background in ballet and lyrical dance
- Previous dance teaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of proper ballet technique and terminology
- Comfortable working with children and teens
- Dependable, professional, friendly, and enthusiastic
- Ability to create a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Choreography experience preferred
Schedule & Compensation
This is a part-time position of approximately 2–4 hours per week on Wednesday evenings during our September–June dance season.
We are currently seeking an instructor specifically for our Wednesday evening Ballet & Lyrical classes. Additional hours may become available based on enrollment, scheduling needs, substitute teaching opportunities, summer programming, and future studio growth.
We are looking for someone who can commit to a consistent weekly Wednesday evening schedule throughout the dance season.
Pay: $35–$45 per hour, based on experience.
