Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your accounting expertise within a vibrant agricultural environment. You will be responsible for preparing financial reports and providing strategic financial insights to support our business operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial statement preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial report writing to support management decision-making
- Perform auditing procedures to verify financial data integrity and ensure regulatory compliance accounting standards such as GAAP are met
- Reconcile accounts through double entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation techniques
Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required with active certification status
- Extensive experience in accounting and finance, particularly in public accounting or corporate accounting environments
- Proficiency with accounting software such as Quickbooks or other financial software tools used for financial report interpretation and analysis skills
- Familiarity with technical accounting standards like GAAP and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance procedures
- Experience with financial planning, mergers & acquisitions, investment analysis, and private equity is a plus
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
