LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse
Correctional Nursing

Position Details:
- $1,500 weekly gross working 36 hours
- Plus, Travel Bonus to the assignment
- Weekly pay + benefits
- 13-week direct contract with a high potential to extend.

- 12 hour shifts working 36 hours weekly with potential to pick up overtime.
Corrections LPN Responsibilities:
- Examine patients in the correctional environment, evaluate their response to treatment, and monitor their progress.
- Provide mental health and emotional support for inmates and when necessary, refer them to appropriate mental health resources.
- Assisting the Physician/RN with exams and treatments.
- Sick call with a Physician to see inmates.
- Prep inmates to be examined/prep exam room and equipment.
- Pill pass, dispensing medications, and required documentation.
- Control medications and syringes in inventory as required.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Corrections nursing experience.
- NM or multistate LPN License in good standing.
- Active BLS
- Clean background check upon hire.
