American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with OR experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care hospital setting.

Work setting includes adult acute care, adult outpatient, bedside/portable procedures, and pediatric outpatient
-
Patient population includes infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
-
Procedures include abdomen/GI imaging (KUB, decubitus, upright), full upper and lower extremity studies, and spine/pelvis imaging
-
OR procedures include big C-arm cases (total joints, ortho, cholecystectomies, cochlear implants, bladder stimulators) and mini C-arm for smaller orthopedic cases

Portable imaging performed post-op for total knees, abdomens, and other imaging as needed
-
Also covers a diagnostic imaging area serving patients from Employee Health, Wound Care, Occupational Health, and Inpatient Rehab

Charting via Epic - experience required

5x8 day shifts, Monday through Friday, approximately 7:15 AM to 5:00 PM (start and end times may fluctuate slightly)

No call required

Floating may be required based on staffing needs

Current BLS certification required

Virginia state license required; any active state license in hand is accepted, as Virginia grants emergency authorization while a permanent VA license is processing - license required if applicable

Minimum OR experience required

Experience with Siemens equipment strongly preferred

Proficiency with big and mini C-arm, portable imaging, and PACS
-
Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
