Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities and potential customers through various methods, including networking, attending events, and utilizing business directories.
- Client Engagement: Travel to assigned territories to meet with existing and potential clients for in-person discussions, explanation of services, and relationship building.
- Sales & Negotiation: Deliver persuasive presentations, address customer questions, handle concerns, and close deals.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & Strategy: Meet sales quotas, report on market conditions, and provide feedback for improving sales performance and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience (preferred logistics experience)
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and manage time effectively
- Comfortable with extensive travel and field work
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
