Veterinary Assistant – Join the Wags Animal Hospital Family
Wags Animal Hospital is looking for a dedicated, compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team! If you have at least 2* year of hands-on experience (required)* and a genuine love for animal care, we’d love to meet you.
This is a full-time position (4 days/week) with a focus on building a long-term team member who thrives in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist veterinarians with exams and procedures
- Place IV catheters and draw blood confidently
- Monitor anesthesia and support surgical care
- Perform and read ear/skin cytologies and fecal floats
- Communicate clearly with team members and pet owners
- Provide compassionate care to every patient
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 year of veterinary assistant experience (required)
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Reliable, team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to work weekends
- Solid technical skills and eagerness to continue learning
Our Schedule:
Open Monday–Wednesday, Friday–Saturday (closed Thursdays & Sundays)
