JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the Loan Officers and customers, checking and/or preparing loan documentation for compliance with loan policy and federal lending regulations, funding loans and issuing loan proceeds, accurately preparing proof work in accordance with the funding detail of each note, assisting customers in completing credit applications and loan documents, answering phones and assisting lending staff, including other secretaries, as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support for Loan Officers; assist with clearing loan documentation exceptions.
- Assist customers in completing credit applications and loan documents.
- Preparing and funding loans and issuing loan proceeds accurately.
- Active participation in call campaigns.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- High School Diploma
- Experience in preparing loan documents.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills: able to work well with a wide range of people.
- Ability to operate various office equipment such as adding machines, copy and fax machines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of projects.
- Excellent customer service skills, high degree of tact, professionalism, and courteous image
- Proficiency in pc applications
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:
- Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing and visual acuity.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Pay: $47,900.00 - $64,000.00 per year
